As of today, my computer has either had a massive malfunction or it is infected with a bad virus. I am unable to start my firewalls and my avast resident scanner is unable to start, and if i run an explorer program too long it t6urns non responsive. although malwarebytes just detected a rookit and i removed it. lol ill see if that solved the problem but any input is helpful. Last thing i did was downloaded a few songs from limewire last night. Restarting now, ill post in a minute if it was resolved, in which case this thread was useless lol

Choose better thread titles in the future, it's not hard. "Help me" Is not a very descriptive thread title. You actually get more responses if you spend a minute thinking of a good thread title then screaming for help. If people glance at the thread title and say, "I might be able to help with that" they're more likely to read your thread.

Please re-read the Forum Guidelines.

Thank you all for the help. After trying every anti-virus possible and not finding any serious virus's, i decided to look elsewhere. It was apparently hard disk errors/bad blocks which were located in hd % sectors 17 - 25. Reinstalling windows has helped that problem, and if any1 knows a good program to use plz msg me. Once again thanks for the help and advice for future threads
