If that was made by "Asus" then we have a winner but Acer is kinda new to Desktop/notebook market and they're not experience with cooling. I have an Acer monitor and it's among the best 24" LCD around but notebook and desktop is a little bit fishy. Pst, "aftermarket cooling" wink wink!

Acer is not is not 'new' to the desktop/notebook market - Acer started off as a distributor of electronic parts and a consultant in the use of microprocessor technologies - that was back in 1976 when ACER was under a different name - then in 1987 the company changed their name to ACER & thats when they started to get into the OEM building business which eventually lead to them buying the Texas Instruments' mobile PC (laptop) division in 1997 when they started building laptops.

to coin a phrase - these dudes have been building systems since i was in nappies

I know Acer is not "new" in the market but they only recently became aggressive and go mainstream notebook and desktop. Distributor has nothing to do with what I'm stating.
