Is someone showing off their new tech toys like it's their job? Are you sick and tired of people thinking their "liquid cooling" is all the rage? Just need some tech-oriented stress relief? Introducing the USB Nuke box! The nuke box, or so it was dubbed by The Register, has authentic lights and sounds, and gives you a 4 minute countdown when you press "the big red button". During peacetime, this toy turns into an ordinary USB hub. The nuke box is headed West from its original selling point in Japan, and the company is accepting pre-orders here.

:rockout: everyday russian roulette with your hard drive!!!!

Someone explain this to me. I know it's a USB hub, but what the heck does pushing the red button and waiting 4 minutes do? Is this big thing just a waste of space?

Cause at the moment, I find the USB missile launcher more entertaining shooting small humming birds in a cage.

its pretty................................

Yeah, I don't understand what it does after the countdown either. My guess is shut your PC down. But who knows. I remember seeing somewhere there was a USB Nerf missile launcher that you could control on your pc. It could rotate, adjust it's angle, and launch all by the click of a mouse. By far the coolest fucking thing I've seen that's USB powered. I really wish I knew where I saw it though...

EDIT: Here it is. Not sold in US though. :(

I think it just makes noise or somthing to ward off them anoying people around u?

HURRY AND SELL THE POWER PLANTS.

Damnit now I have a craving for some l33t c&c RA actionss!!!

This could be used with some games, like c&c red alert :D
EVEN BETTER: if you're surrounded with ppl that wants to kill you just get a laptop wire the HUB to the laptop and say: "We are all going to dye" and push the buttom, it could be quite effective in some places of the world

Good power switch for my PC. :)

 Yes! Someone needs to make a mod so that it can be used as a gamepad :) (though, disabling the fancy lights and sound would be tricky).

Nah, I would find a way to set it as a macro for easy network nuking. Set it up with ettercap so the little red button fucks everyones connection on campus. Then you can threaten people with it and stuff. Demand money when they're feverishly working on a huge project for the next day. :D Alla yo money or it's no easybib for you, bitch!
