Very nice overclock. What are your temperatures at full load running at? And what are your temps at idle? Is it Prime 95 stable?

Well. I cant get it stable past 3.6Ghz. I can do everything i want but as i run Prime95 it errors instantly.
I already have an offer of €175 on the chip. Waiting to get €185 then it's bye bye:)
Already ordered a Q9550 E0:D Only have to pay €15 extra if i get €185 for the Q9450.
I really think the 8.5 multi is gonna help me out a lot. As 450 fsb will get me to 3.8Ghz instead of 3.6Ghz. And will let me turn down the voltage a bit.:)

Well i got my Q9550 E0 on Ebay.:) From the same guy i got the Q9450 from.
After a few hours he mailed me saying he only had the C1 stepping.
Should i cancel the buy or is there no reason to panic?

You want 3.6GHz? More voltage. If you say no thanks, why make this thread then? :)

More voltage, high clocks, k.

Dude i'm not gonna put 1.4v on a 45nm chip. Ever heard of 45nm degrading due to high voltage?

I agree 100% you are only asking for a really short life of higher voltages.

Since it doesn't really matter. I decided to go for the E0.

I hope i will have it in two days. Because i sold the Q9450 and have to sent it out tomorrow.

My Q9450 needs 1.425V to get to 3.8 stable. I booted once at 4.0GHz and Vista ran so fast it didn't know what to do with itself, well actually it did and it shut down cause my Gigahertz was so 1337.

Most 9450's need more volts to overclock higher, generally thats a no no with any chip as overvolting can create potential degration. So it's a touchy subject, not everyone is comfortable with overvolting much. 1.4 isn't that much stock is 1.26V, HWBot has a CPU-Z with 1.79V!!
Check the 4th ranking for CPU-z, the pic listed shows the voltage:
