Is the GTX 285 really worth the $80 more than the HD 4890?
in my experience, nVIDIA Card have a better fps than Ati. Especially in some Game support PhysX such as Crysis, FarCry...
So... that 80$ will help you more in games

The GTX 285 is not worth it over the 4890. They're 50-100$ more. I still say get a 4850X2 and go tri fire
And 20% could mean 100FPS to 102, what a big jump

boil it down even further to the 275 and the 4890. Now you should also take note what games you usually play and which of the two bring a better performance out of those games, then your choice will be made up.
