Larrabee Only by 2010

It's probably taking them that long to develop a cooling solution for that monster seeing as they've already got the dies made.
 
I think the delay is more to write the necessary drivers + libraries for it (DirectX and OpenGL for sure). Wouldn't that be ironic if they run PhysX on it and it does much better than NVIDIA cards? NVIDIA will definitely try to stop them but it would still be funny. XD

it most likely would. anything they can code to run on this, will run a lot better than anything currently existing. Intel might make something that performs 'on par' (P4, intel onboard video) on occasion but you can bet your arse they dont want to fail with larrabee. If larrabee doesnt pwn current gen video cards, they'll just give it another die shrink and clock it up.
