Well 60Gb of music takes me about 14mins to copy over from sata to sata.

I have a 16 gb flash drive, and whenever I need to copy a ton of files with it, I always zip/rar them, it goes so much faster.

thats mostly related to flash drives, and how they suck terribly with small files due to their design. (same as MLC SSD's, they have a stutter problem with small writes)
