so it's 2200 cl8 on 1.65V? Why no triple channel? You'd think they would try and sell to the high end market :rolleyes:
 
Those heatsinks are almost identical to the ocz reapers (1st ones) im betting you wont get 4 sticks side by side which is a shame.

Or maybe there are more people with AM3 and X48 (DDR3) motherboards than with X58 motherboards. Or maybe because Dual-Channel RAM will still work on an i7 system as well they want to stay open to all markets instead of just 1 market.

Thats not staying open to all markets, there effectively ignoring i7, i mean no one buys i7 to go dual channel regardless. I sure as hell wouldn't regardless of the speed/timings. Nice sticks none the less although heatsinks=fail, no triple channel=fail imo.

gigabyte anyone ? :D

also if you look at the heatsink design (tear drop shape) it should be able to fit side by side as long as the board has a slight bit of spacing between dim slots
 
Those sure beat the looks of my old A-DATA DDR2 budget memory :D Liking the flat black heatpipes, fins and PCB.

Sure I would.... buy three sets for i7 :)
 
It does it cost to put 3 sticks as availability? Won't it be the same sticks anyways? So basically offer the same sticks in packs of three also?
