Any one have any ideas or guesses on what kind of clock one can hit compared to previous PII'S (940's - 955's)

Won't be able to guess with this one, as it's a different revision. All the previous PII's clock basically the same, as long as they are BE's. Maybe with a slight advantage to the 955, but not by much. Hopefully this will be the one that can hold 4ghz 24/7 stable on air.

watch and see the average chip has no problem doing those speeds, so with better binning look out.

I knew there would be a new top CPU, but I didn't expect it so quickly. My old AM2 mobo shorted out, so a new build was in order two weeks ago. Got an X4 955 and figured I'd have a few months to savor having their fastest chip.
