LGA-1156 CPU and Motherboard US Pricing Surfaces

bang per buck...the i5 750...so it's 10% faster than a x4 945 and it costs 70$(25%) more (P55 vs 790GX) that's such a good deal...I sort of agree with the i7 860(even dough it's not much of a difference between the 920+x58)
 
Wow, prices are too high. They are cutting their own throats. I would never consider an 860 over a 920 at those prices, considering the 920 is on the better platform.

they will drop. remember that the stores are hiking the prices in the hopes that early adopters will pay higher margins for 'new and shiny'

Let's hope so. You'd have to be retarded to go with 1156 with an 860 or 870 at these prices. 920 and 950 on 1366 are definitely the better buys.
