But in this case there isn't much of a wait. It's only a few days. These new cards are going to be DX11 as well... you're buying obsolete hardware.

The GTX 295 or any hardware in that matter released before the 58** series(unless it was released before like '06) is in no way obsolete. I can stand it when people call hardware obsolete when it just came out a little ways back. Maybe for your ''ub3r 1337 b3nchm4rks'' there obsolete, but for your average user/gamer, they have lots of life left in them.

Yes, it IS obsolete. The 5xxx series is going to support DX11, and the GTX295 doesn't, therefore it's obsolete.

...and I don't use idiot(leet)speek, and I really don't give squat about benchmarks any more than measuring my performance before and after changing settings.

Loads of people still use 295s and such like.

While your at it, why not switch out your coolant to distilled water? You wouldn't have had that problem to begin with, no offense.

I can only assume that if it was distilled water you could of left it it dry completely before turning it on and there wouldn't of been a problem.

Coolant maybe has something in it that messes things up more?

I'm not to saavy with water cooling so its just an educated guess.

distilled water doesn't have the Chemicals that Coolant has. so, all you have to do is allow the stuff to dry and you should be fine. But, you have to allow it to dry before you turn it on.. After all, it's still water.

Also, it's used in pond fountains due to the fact it doesn't build up any residents inside the loop. So, no Chemical corrosion and so forth. Plus, if you want to look ripped as hell.. drink that since it drys out your body.. lol. But, I wouldn't say to do so.. body builders do.

I think that here in tpu someone must have done something wrong and then broke it,mayby install ram badly or some rewiring like me

If you want to talk about horror stories.. my brother/best bud, Random Murderer.... I lent him my card to do all the modding for the 3870 thread... Well he forgot to clean the pencil mod, reflash the bios to the org before doing the trim pot (he even told in the thread to do that first!) mod... Well, bricked it to hell.. went a month without a computer so I could save up for a new card.. lol..

Thats the only horror story I know of... I've had lots of doa's and I have oc'ed two boards to death... but nothing compares to what he did! lol
