To view this case mod, go here.

Specs:
AMD Phenom II 965 c3 @ 4.0Ghz 1.525v
Asus M4A79T-Deluxe motherboard
2x2GB G.Skill DDR3 1600Mhz 9.8.8.20.1t 1.6v
eVGA gtx 285 730/1550/1400(2800mem)
2x Seagate 7200.11 320GB hdd's in raid 0
1x G.Skill falcon SSD
Samsung Syncmaster 2494 24" lcd
Westinghouse 22" lcd
Corsair Obsidion 800d case

Mods:
Complete water cooling setup for the cpu consisting of swiftec microres, mcp655-b pump, mcr320 rad, fuzion v2 block, and primochill 1/2" id house. Changed up the fans a bit replacing the tri cools i had on my old rad with 6 coolermaster r4 120mm 90cfm fans. Added a l.i.s. 2 lcd 5.25 bay fan controller.

The corsair obsidion d is by far the best case in the entire world, seriously it's effin heavy as all getout, but it does the job very very well. I've yet to see a messy computer built with this case. As for the water cooling, i idle at about 29-31c and load about 44-47c in an 18c room. The graphics card sux unfortnately and won't get me about 730 to save my ass, and no volt mods are available on the software level. If you got questions about my 965c3 oc or the case please let me know. Thanx!!!

The way I was going to work my 800D+water cooling (if I did it again) would be to hard line a pump/res combo to the rad, the rad's I/O would be above the CPU. Direct line from the pump Out to the CPU IN and then of course the out back up to the Rad. To me that would be the smallest/cleanest loop.

i hear ya, i'm actually gonna grab the res/pump combo mod that goes the 5.25 bay for the mcp655 pump, and get rid of the extra hose for the res, then i was gonna go from the pump into the rad, from the rad to block and back to res, that way all the water would be at the top and i could finally reach my cmos jumpers with ease lol. If you could though can you draw up a picture of my 800d with mspaint and show me how you'd like it done, cause i can change it around, i was gonna just put a tline in, somewhere lol .

Be careful with those Typhoon IIIs, they are known to leak and the company is NOT good with replacing defectives.

ahh where would i put the pump though on the bottom of the case directly below the inlet to the rad... i wouldn't want to hang the pump, that just makes me worry more lol

That's why I propose a hard line, as in full metal.

::EDIT:: just to be clear I really do think you did an excellent job with your build. These are just ideas I've had for my own 800D WCing if I get into water again.

Nice setup. I am obsessing over this case. Pretty sure i'm going to get one and sell my TJ09. MMMMMMM, cable Management.

I do have a question. I can't figure out what goes in the space below the hot swap HD's? Is there room for more HD's in there?
