Vantec has introduced a new notebook cooler that includes two flip-out speakers and a subwoofer. The "Piano" cooler has an adjustable speed fan and Vantec claims the speakers have a combined RMS output of 15 watts along with a frequency response of 60Hz to 20kHz. A 3-port USB 2.0 hub is also integrated into the cooler. The cooler will come in both ivory white and gloss black colors. Vantec did not announce a suggested retail price for the U.S. market and none of the major online retailers are showing the product in their catalogs.

Prob. going to be expensive.
A nice idea, but it really depends on the price and how good the sound quality is

Considering there are no midrange woofers on that setup, I'd say it's going to sound like shit. And no, those shiny tweeter looking things, don't count.

do you notice the manufactures of portable pc dont call there portable pc's..."laptops" any more, but "notebooks"? this is due to the fact that todays "notebooks" get so damn hot that you have to put a notebook/notepad/book between you and the unit....LOL! and when the unit causes 3rd degree burns, they can use the name "notebook" as a legal defence.
