Sunbeamtech let loose its Smart Fan Controller 6 and Smart Fan Controller 3. These internal fan-speed controllers fit into the 5.25" and 3.5" drive bays, and offer manual control over 6 and 3 channels, respectively. Both controllers take power input from a Molex connector, as well as have a connection with the motherboard to let you synchronize all fan speeds using PWM signals from the motherboard. While the Smart Fan Controller 6 offers up to 30W per channel, the Smart Fan Controller 3 gives 20W per channel. The units are enclosed in aluminum that's open on top to help ventilate the heat-producing FETs. The front-bezel is made of perforated black metal, with aluminum rotary knobs.

Oh mesh design, nice. Would fit my case and many others out there with full front mesh.

Just don't need a fan controller, buy my fans with right RPM for me. With that mobo PWM signal though you'd get a really silent case for idle. But Arctic Cooling for example already has fans that can connect to them selves, does the same thing without a controller.

Just damn nice, will get one to my CM 690 II Advanced.

I want! where and when can i get it? And whats the price point on this?

1. What for would I need this while every sensible board has a fan controller.
2. It doesnt show rpm
3. It doesnt autoadjust

What exacly do they mean by it being "smart" in any way.

Connect to themselves? How do you mean?

Finally, more 5.25" fan controllers on the market....
