Acer Announces Aspire Predator Gaming PC with GeForce GTX 470

i just threw up a little in my mouth...

That case if effin HORRIBLE! Talk about a gimmicky piece of poo. This is the rice of the Computer world.

Makes me feel a bit sullied to say it, but I kind of like the design... :ohwell:

your not alone, i love the look of it except for the orange. it would look better in red.

Air flow on this case is bad from what Ive heard..

just over kill

With the Orange I agree, it's just too much, if it was all Black or the Orange part was a dark Grey its shapes really remind me of a F-117 type design.

Even if it were all black, it reminds me of a civic with lambo doors.

Aren't these the original Acer Predators that had a recall? If I am not certain, one of their cable wires for the lights or some kind of mechanism was thinner gauge. This was causing a fire or overheat. Anyone remember this problem?

Weirdly it's only the Predator G7700's in the US they have to recall, not any other model, nor anywhere else.

:Arnie voice: you are one ugly mutha*****!

What kind of PSU does this have? thats a pretty bold claim, 2 more 470's are gonna use a hell of a lot more juice...

Gamers who want to ensure their PC remains on the cutting edge will be pleased to know the Aspire Predator AG7750 is highly scalable, allowing integration of many advanced components and gaming peripherals, such as joysticks, steering wheels, foot pedals and more

It has USB ports!!!!!!11!!!1

Overall this is a pretty impressive spec for an OEM, but that case is just TOO hideous, why dont these OEM's look at Lian Li/Silverstone/Corsair cases and think "hey, thats what our arse expensive new rig should look like"

If they only get their PSU's from one manufacturer/supplier, then it would be FSP.

About the case, their most expensive one is arguably the one with the worst case. The slightly cheaper (but still with an i7 920/930) M series have a better looking case too.

Yeah, I was thinking about that...
Is it able to ventilate at least? :wtf:
I can't see any holes/openings...
