Kingston released its DataTraveler G3 series of flash drives. These fairly standard USB 2.0 flash drives come in capacities of 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 GB, and offer transfer speeds of 16 MB/s (read), 5 MB/s (write). The units measure 65.68 x 10.66 x 22.37 mm, and use a capped body. The 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 GB variants are priced at €5.85, €7.11, €11.98, €25.42 and €52.10, respectively.

They look like they are made out of recycled plastic. Plus the specs are nothing anyone would write home about. I mean 5MB/s write on a 32GB USB drive. I just can't imagine how long it takes to write just 4GB of data onto it, let alone full 32GB when needed. Read performance is also far below any standard these days. I just don't get it what's the point of such crappy drives.
