I was just browsing the interweb and i just got this funny fuzzy static like noise thru my audio output?? its just the onboard sound i use

Never had this before,it still plays everything like it should but with this crap static

Ive checked my stereo and its not that or the speaker at all, i tried rebooting with no luck, so i installed latest realtek drivers, still doing it, tryed unplugging and recconecting all internal cables, but still bad sound?

Also tryed front out put but same thing

I read up a lil and someone was saying about earthing something? wheres the earth on my pc? LOL

I might have to go buy a cheap sound card, but any help would be appreciated ,thanks:pimp:

It's possibly interference.

By "earthing", they mean grounding. Your stuff won't be grounded unless your computer is plugged into a 3-pronged outlet (or a power strip/surge protector or something that's plugged into a 3-pronged outlet). If you're using one of those adaptors, you're not really getting the grounding, you're just eliminating the 3rd prong in a way to make it fit into the outlet.

Grab the cheapest thing you can find from Creative or Asus and you'll hear no difference.
