Verbatim unveiled a new portable hard drive design which is agonizingly simple and yet never thought of before: a wallet. The Wallet Drive from Verbatim is of the size and shape of most common wallets, and come in black and brown leather enclosures. The drive comes in capacities of 320 and 500 GB, and uses USB 2.0 interface for power and connectivity. Nero BackiItUp and Burn and Turbo USB software is bundled with each drive. Verbatim will release these 'capacious' wallets soon.

lol..... not a bad idea, they look stupid to me but there is definetly a market for such things. USB3 would have been a much better idea.

Never thought of before.... They put a 2.5" HDD in a wallet, do they want a fricken medal?

"never thought of before" ?!
wow... 2,5 HDD USB 2.0 inside leather casing so original... And why is it wallet-like ? Can you put money/cards inside ? Can you sit on it and it doesnt brake ?

If it was a SSD hidden inside a real wallet that would be leet but this is just leather design.

Looks rather cheap. I prefer HDD cases that have leather case tightly wrapped around the case, not with flattened edge...

Meh. No mention of being able to sit on it like a real wallet, no mention of being able to use it as a wallet, and most importantly, no USB 3.0. In other words, just looking for ways to clear out old stock.

The edges look heat pressed together, MMMMMMM cheapy plastic as well!
