Thermaltake eSports Announces New Meka G1 Gaming Keyboard

if only those deck keyboards had media keys...

Buy a remote for media. Use the keyboard for typing.

I wish I could afford a Deck, personally.

Or create keyboard shortcuts.
I don't know about you but I don't listen to my own music whilst gaming so the only time to switch songs is when I'm within the main OS.

Loads of spare combos o'keys!

you can make your own media keys with freeware like SharpKeys or AutoHotKey with any keyboard. AutoHotKey has a complex scripting language, you can create more sophisticated macros than what Logitech and Razer drivers allow you to do. there is a learning curve but pre-made scripts are available. anybody who took basic programming in high school shouldn't have a problem.

programming in high school? heh, not around these parts...

i like pause/play/next etc for music while gaming. remote is silly for that. also, volume.

Deck has a 30 day return policy no questions asked. the Deck warranty is 1 year it used to be 10 years. they will also service your Deck if your warranty is expired for a fee.

here is a unboxing video of the Deck Legend 105 Ice Tactile. even the packaging is a tank!

I loved my old mechanical keyboard way back... it came with my 286 pc.. loved it so much that after I upgraded to a celeron using a ps/2 (which was bundled by a mushy keyboard), I bought that huge keyboard port to ps/2 converter. It didnt have a window key that you would accidentally press, and was overall very responsive even after years of abuse.

that 1000hz polling rate is useless for a keyboard imo.. shouldve just redirected the funds elsewhere instead of its implementation..

was thinking of replacing my current keyboard with an Xarmor U9BL

Exactly. Computer class in high school for me consisted of Oregon Trail and that typing speed game where you had to type the word before the racecar got to it.

Same her Don. Even in High school, our computer classes was more for home keys and moving around and maybe OFfice, if that. I never took them cuz Im a genius like that lol

you might want to replace it with a Razer. no I am not kidding. Razer is being tight-lipped about a new product they are unveiling at Gamescom Aug. 18th but yesterday someone posted a video on tudou it looks like someone is showcasing a mechanical keyboard. this is really exciting because Razer has the power, finances and market to change it.

Please be tactile, please be tactile, please be tactile.

Oh, and cheaper. lol.

That is definitely not going to happen, will probably be Razer's most expensive keyboard yet :shadedshu
