Noiseblocker Updates MultiFrame Fan Design, Adds Insulating Gasket

Noiseblocker, a company that specializes in low-noise PC cooling solutions released an updated design for its MultiFrame S-Series case fans. The updated design features a gasket ring along the periphery of the frame that comes in contact with the case or radiator, that provides some insulation to the frame. Noiseblocker suggests that the new MultiFrame is best suited for water-cooling setups, for use with radiators. The new MultiFrame fans come in 120 mm and 80 mm sizes, and are priced on par with the older variants: around 20 EUR for the 120 mm, and around 15 EUR for the 80 mm size.

I don't have the MultiFrame fans from them but i do have BlackSilent series (black frame, transparent blue fan) and they are excellent. A bit pricey but excellent. Very high quality build, very silent and durable. And they look nice because they don't have any unnecessary LED's attached.

Same here.

I doubt the insulating gasket will make any significant difference to what already is a very quiet fan, only if it makes it more pricey.

What's the static pressure and flow like on them? I'm always game to try new rad fans.

Sadly, their website does not have that information available for this particular model of fan, I checked and none of the available documents regarding performance or technical specifications had it. But you can take a guess from my current ones from the BlackSilent Series, that provide just a little less airflow than these do.

Actually, according to my MoBo and fan controller, the X2 can rev up to 2200 rpm when at 12V or near. Also, it's only at that point when you can hear it.
Hope this gives you an idea of how their case fans can perform. From what I've seen, the MultiFrame S-Seires can provide even more air flow with the same RPMs.
In the series, this models are the fastest ones and that provide more airflow. As the number in the model increases, so does the speed and the airflow.

I'm not sure here, but will that gasket shape actually seal against most radiators..??
It looks like there will be some leakage around the mounting holes..

Or you could just buy four(4) Arctic Cooling fans for same price where the hole fan is mounted on rubber stuff. Silly expensive imo.
