NVIDIA is just a couple of weeks ahead of launching its new GeForce GTS 450 mid-range graphics processor. After the recent exposé of the ASUS GTS 450 DirectCu, another set of pictures have surfaced, this time of Chinese AIC partner Manli's GeForce GTS 450. Manli's card seems to suggest what could be the NVIDIA reference design of the GTS 450. The card superficially looks nearly identical to the GeForce GTX 460 reference design, except for its green-colored PCB. It carries NVIDIA reference clock speeds of 789/1566/900 MHz (core/CUDA core/memory), and features 1 GB of GDDR5 memory across a 128-bit wide interface, with a bandwidth of 57.7 GB/s. It is reportedly priced at US $130.

They should make the box look abit more appealing. But the card looks awesome.

I hope in 1 6-pin power connector and a nice oc slot

How many shaders does it have?

192 according to a previous News post here.

i quess ATI....sorry AMD needs to lower the price of the 5770

Not really, it doesn't beat the 5770, and its just a bit weaker than a 5750. AMD have been lucky though, they've managed to keep the prices the same for the whole time!

interesting! i havent seen any performance numbers

I would expect (hope) this card scales even better than the 460's in SLi, if that is the case, with decent overclocks, you may see a $260 SLi system capable of matching a 5870 in performance terms..... well we live in hope! :rockout:

Yeah, I really don't get why they put a ishihara test on the box art. It probably is for trolling the color blind.
But I agree on the card design, very appealing.

No... I believe this is going to beat a stock HD 5770. 192 CUDA cores with 128-bit GDDR5 (about the same as 256-bit GDDR3) will make this just a little bit weaker than a GTX 260 Core 216.

why no external exhaust, i know this is a bit better but al the heat in your case, no way

We'll just have to wait for some benchmarks. But i think this card will be equal to a 5770 or in between the 5750 and 5770.

This may be the nice downgrade I've been looking for...

Any guesses on Folding PPD?

say who?never heard of this brand before but it looks like a nice card
