An Austrian hardware vendor jumped the gun and listed an unannounced GeForce GT 430 graphics card by Gigabyte, the GV-N430OC-1GI. As the model name suggests, it is overclocked out of the box. Tiny bits of details given in the listing shows that the card has 1 GB of DDR3 memory across a 128-bit wide memory interface, and connectors that include one each of DVI and HDMI. Additional detailed mentioned by a price aggregator reveals that GeForce GT 430 is based on the 40 nm GF108 core, the SKU has 96 CUDA cores and 16 TMUs.

Finally, after so many months a product which would make ati 5670 lower its price :P
or maybe not....

This looks more like a HD 5550/70 competitor to me.

^ WTF does the Quadro have to do with this?

There is suppose to be a GDDR5 version also.

It's a GF108 GPU like the other cards pictured.

Eh, then the thread should have been "Listing Reveals Details of GF108 GPU". :nutkick:

I wonder if you would call someone out for a slight subject change in a real life conversation

I wonder what old gen card this is equivalent too ( old gen top end specifically)

No, because nobody knows if all the components (such as CUDA cores, etc.) physically present in the GF108 are enabled on the GeForce GT 430.

So, I take it this would this be roughly as powerful as the 96 shader model 9600GSO? At what price will it sell in the US, I wonder...

SOMEONE PAY ME to provide linkbacks to other sites. LOL. BONK.

Anyway, we love pictures, and comparatives, so IMO the post from Hyins is relevant and OK.

Lol, I just had to stir things up a bit... Anyways, GT 430 is neat... but I think I'll still keep my OC'd 384Mb 9600GSO and 9600GT with Xigmatek cooler. Unless this is drastically cheaper than those cards (~$65) or is much faster, not worth it for me.
