Well, whilst being filmed at least. The Asimo is Honda's super-advanced android, you've probably stumbled upon it on TV now and again. Anyway, at a recent demonstration the Asimo seemed to stumble on a set of stairs, falling straight onto its back, with his mechanics quick onto the seen to put a screen in place and see to its injuries. You just can't help but laugh when something designed to mimic human behaviour takes it a step too far. You can see the video via Engadget.

haha

you can almost see the virtual look on the robots face when it realizes it just miscalculated.

I know I shouldn't laugh at this for several reasons:

1.) A lot of people have put a lot of time into this and the advancements have been amazing, but very difficult and laughing would be an insult to them.

2.) Because one day that thing will be advanced enough to kick my ass.

3.) I don't want to be insulting the ones controlling it.

However I just can't help myself.

looks like a motor gave out or something, it didnt just trip it collapsed...and pieces went flying!

That is sad, but it looks like Honda needs to do some work... LOL

Yeah, you can see the knee sort of give out when it tries to take that last step. It sort of just snaps.

that surely hurted:laugh:

I have a honda motorbike and im just about to go out now, so I hope nothing decides to fail on me!

Very funny though!

I learn 1 very educating fact that not only humans PK but Robots too.

on a side note, it was kinda creepy when they put up that thing at the end so that people couldnt see how bad he was hurt....
