Extreme gamers continue to seek high performing gaming notebooks to keep up with an ever increasing demand from the e-sports scene. However, notebooks tend to have cooling that is almost insufficient for the high-end hardware that they contain. The SF-19, the first in a new series of gaming notebook coolers, uses a highly effective and customizable cooling design. CM Storm seeks to target users of large notebooks with sizes of 19" and beyond.

Designed with future compatibility in mind, the SF-19 comes equipped with 4 advanced USB 3.0 ports which make it future-proof for all devices such as high speed hard drives, high performance gaming mice, headsets, and peripherals that require high speed transfer rates.

Utilizing a Multi-Light Shader, The SF-19 helps create an environment for any gaming intensity by providing 7 colored light profiles. It makes creating an ambiance to fit a gamer's mood an easy task. In addition, special consideration is paid to mobility in that the SF-19 can effortlessly be transported to a new gaming battleground via its swift carrying handle.

The optimum solution in thermal environments
In order to protect a gamer's gear while it's under heavy stress from game play, the SF-19 employs its incredible ability to dissipate all of that excess heat through its surface. It also has a strengthened mesh that can withstand all notebook sizes up to 19". It also features 2 x 140mm adjustable turbine fans that are specially engineered to provide unprecedented airflow that keeps notebook components running at optimal temperatures.

To achieve maximum cooling efficiency, the SF-19 fans whirl at an impressive 2600 RPM fans. These fans come affixed to a removable fan bracket that allows gamers to use either 140mm or 120mm fans. With this, fan positions can be adjusted to create an optimum airflow pattern. The SF-19 is built to not only extend your notebook lifespan, but also enhance your combat effectiveness in competition by keeping components frosty while you're under fire.

Ive seen this thing in person and it's massive ,looks to be a good design and the lights are great

Yay, now we need two carry bags. One for notebook and another for this

EDIT: Oh, it has a handle.

Maybe this has use for those who use their laptops as their primary PC:s. But I would say only for young kids who just "neeed" this.

"Impressive 2600 RPM fans"
So they make turbo-like whining sounds when you play a racing game?

Saw these at Frys this morning, and they looked cool but for 45 dollars I really can't say I could justify the price, also the size is far more than my 15" laptop requires.

This actually looks promising. For my laptop (m17x) though, I'd like the fans a little more up top since that's where my fans are but since these are bigger it may still work. Wonder how this compares to the notepal u3 since I just got that at release. Tempted to see get that. It's nicer to see there actual 140 and not those tiny ones on the u3. These should move alot more air and perform better. I'd like to see how the fans plug in. Wondering if someone could change the fans to higher rpm if they wanted to for more air. Also whats the weight on this? since it has a handle. Looks sweet though.

They'll only wind-up when the cars pass by on a stationary camera to give a more accurate doppler effect on the sound

Thanks for that link CDdude. I was curious how the light features work and stuff. Its nice seeing those fans plug in with just the 3pin allowing you to use almost any fan you want. I wonder if power to the fans have a resistor in it cutting down your rpm cause if not. You could prob stick some Deltas in there for some serious cfm.

its better than the U3;)

lighting:

On/Off switch, one of seven colors, all seven in a cycling pattern, even a pulse/breathing mode.
