Maybe this has use for those who use their laptops as their primary PC:s. But I would say only for young kids who just "neeed" this.

Saw these at Frys this morning, and they looked cool but for 45 dollars I really can't say I could justify the price, also the size is far more than my 15" laptop requires.

This actually looks promising. For my laptop (m17x) though, I'd like the fans a little more up top since that's where my fans are but since these are bigger it may still work. Wonder how this compares to the notepal u3 since I just got that at release. Tempted to see get that. It's nicer to see there actual 140 and not those tiny ones on the u3. These should move alot more air and perform better. I'd like to see how the fans plug in. Wondering if someone could change the fans to higher rpm if they wanted to for more air. Also whats the weight on this? since it has a handle. Looks sweet though.

They'll only wind-up when the cars pass by on a stationary camera to give a more accurate doppler effect on the sound

Thanks for that link CDdude. I was curious how the light features work and stuff. Its nice seeing those fans plug in with just the 3pin allowing you to use almost any fan you want. I wonder if power to the fans have a resistor in it cutting down your rpm cause if not. You could prob stick some Deltas in there for some serious cfm.
