NVIDIA will allow manufacturers to overclock G80 in January

Storage WD 160 GB SATA hard drive.
Display(s) Hanns G 19" widescreen, 5ms response time, 1440x900
Case Thermaltake Soprano (black with side window).
Audio Device(s) Soundblaster Live! 24 bit (paired with X-530 speakers).
Power Supply ThermalTake 430W TR2
Software XP Home SP2, can't wait for Vista SP1.
When NVIDIA first released the G80 series, they forbid all manufacturers from factory overclocking the cards. With the coming of ATI's R600 cards, NVIDIA has decided to allow manufacturers to overclock the G80 series. There is no mention on how high manufacturers will be allowed to overclock the cards.

these first G80 card out already will become the mid ranged card should the AMD card be faster as there is no doubt in my mind Nvidia has a faster card ready to counter against AMD
 
How ironic...

ya know, if I was an oem maker of nvidia cards, I would make oc'd ones anyways....of course, I would probably lose the license, but que cira cira!
