sorry ! i have install Ati tool if i will put the slider from GPU a bit higher i get the message that the CARD is Overclocked ! and then i get Blackscreen ! why ?
now i have installed Everest and looked at my GPU and there is a message like this

i have x1950 pro and i'm having problems..my 1950 pro is from ati and the fan sucks ..when open ati and try to find my mem max my card shuts down and i have to restart..need help

Because your card has digital voltage regulation circuitry which doesnt overclock well.......at all.

Not that I am aware of yet, it seems to be the way ATi are going with the digital voltage control thing not only the 1950Pro but the revision 2 1900GT's both have it and it makes hardmodding VERY difficult so I beleive(there are huge threads in these forums on the digital voltage issue for the Rev 2 1900Gt that will at least give you an insight into it, some talented guy out there may well come up with a solution but as far as I am aware, not at present Newer Gen ATi cards aint gonna overclock anywhere as near as they did in the past.......cant you just see the smirk on the other sides face

of course there are benefits from this, controlled voltage, less heat, increased hardware stability and probably a whole host of others I am not aware of.

I've got a different Pro card and on Agp, but had more luck with the latest version of Ati Tray tools than with Ati Tool, max stable on the corruption test is 688core/850(1700)mem

They are very bad overclokers, these cards.. But huge Kudos to rickw584 for that overclock! I think the memory used on the x1950pro's are specified to max 700Mhz.

Cheers, it's Hynix FP-14, which as you say is only rated to 700, although Xbitlabs managed the same clock with the ram on a 7900gt/gs, most reviews of the card only show mem upto about 750 though

Which brand is it? On my card it's Samsung K4J55323QG-BC14.. Same ratings though..

It's the basic Gecube 256mb Agp, how far can you push memory on yours?

His version should be very good at overclock. problem is the vrams these days heat up very fast on those cards. But the HiS ICEQ3 has very good cooling on it.

If anything its the programs that your using.

Hmm.. Both you and rickw584 have the AGP card.. Maybe they OC better than the PCI-e version? In the reviews for the pcie version they were able, if lucky, to push it up to like 620/715 or so.

690Mhz = 1380Mhz DDR - 682Mhz = 1364Mhz DDR

So I dont think hes on the right lines about 98% OC
