URGENT!!! computer problem!

(work computer) Ok let me explain my telling you what happened. We were getting a flickering distortion across out touchscreen. At first we thought it was just touch feature going out. So we hooked up a different monitor without touchscreen. The same lines came across that screen. So I hooked up the old monitor and blew out the computer with compressed air ( canned air safe for computers) and now the is no video post... What could have happened?????

Could be internal ribbon connector popped loose. Could be the card just broke.

Sounds like the video card died.

Try reseating, and if no go, then replace.

Agreed.

You could try hooking it up to the other monitor again too to see if you can get something. If not, try a video card from another computer maybe?

You could also try a different output connector on the video card, maybe just one of the connectors went bad somehow.

Sounds like a dead graphics card to me as well, I've seen those symptoms myself

It's working now, I didn't do anything new but tried it again and it booted up. But unfortunately it looks like the video output is gonna go out before too much longer
