Colorful, one of the biggest AICs in Asia, announces a limited edition GeForce GTX 460 graphics card, to commemorate iGame series have been founded for 2 years. iGame460 is one of the successful graphics cards in 2010, the cooler is used the Shark-inspired Bionic Design, both noise level and thermal performance are controlled pretty well, and the design won the KAPOK prize which is an weighty industry design award in China.

The GPUs of iGame460 limited edition have been chosen, and only 50 pieces are provided in total, each of them has exclusive serial number. It has 8 pieces Hynix DDR5 memory, which is the world's first 256MB (2Gb) capacity of each module and 6Gbps of the speed. On the PCB, there are 2 BIOS chips are installed so that it has two different clock modes (Normal/Turbo). In Normal mode, the clock keeps as the same as the reference edition and runs at 675/1350/3608MHz; but in Turbo mode, the clock is boosted to set 890/1780/4000MHz, users can select the mode they like by press the button on the bracket near by the mini HDMI port.

The outputs of the card are 2 DVI ports and 1 mini HDMI port. The DVI ports equip EMI shield, and the surface of DVI ports and mini HDMI port use gold-plated to reduce the EMI noise and keep anti-oxidation.

Beats the ASUS Mars in terms of limited edition.
I wonder how much Colorful will charge for this baby.
And knowing iGame series, I bet the core can reach 1ghz.

That is the one of the best looking GTX460 ... In the World.

it looks pretty nice, and as limited edition it should be packed exclusively :toast:
but theres one thing, for me the card is aint look aggressive :shadedshu but thats kinda nice card anyway :)

One of the worst press releases, grammar wise, I have ever read.

both noise level and thermal performance are controlled pretty well

Not great but .............pretty well.

If I'm going to fork out a bunch of money on a limited edition card it wouldn't be for a mid-range card.

Edit: I just noticed on the "Do not disturb sign" it says (innokids)....

I never understood the point of any kind of limited editions using crappy not even mid range cards.
GTX 580 with a NVIDIA CEO hand written signature (not printed sticker) and only 500 cards released yes, but GTX 460. C'mon!? What a joke lol

What's the point of making a limited edition über-card based on a mid-range price/performance GTX 460? This card basically throws the best selling point of the GTX 460 out of the window...

@Yellow&Nerdy?

There are people who will pay more for limited edition of Volkswagen Polo than for Volkswagen Passat.

looks like a 480 lighting rip off

Now that's what I call a Factory Overclock

how much this cost 500$, thanx im gonna pick GTX580
by the way the "don't disturb im gaming" idea made by XFX before

If its priced the same just like 460 lightning, its quite tempting. If its priced high because of its 'limited factor', NTY.

Agreed WTF is the point in making some super limited addition mid-range card?

Stupid

That looks totally awesome, but I don't think it's really worth getting a metal case and a bunch of other crap you don't need just to get a fancy heatsink.

That doesn't look like a shark, it looks like a dolphin whose fins have been cut off for soup, and as compensation got two propellers, but they overheated and burned the dolphin, thus the black colour. But a shark?

Anyways, nice idea, wrong card.
