Eurocom, the worlds leading notebook developer is adding AMD's new high performance HD6970M GPUs to their extensive options of high end video cards. With the HD6970M Eurocom is extending their already impressive options of configurability in their line of products. The Radeon HD6970M is AMD's top of the line VGA card of their new 6xxxM series that they will oficially launch at the Computer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada starting on 6th of January 2011. The addition of the AMD 6000M series cards in single and crossfire combined with NVIDIA's GTX 400M series and FX 5000M series cards in single and SLI gives Eurocom customers a complete choice of video processor options to fit any project.

Eurocom Configurability
Eurocom was founded on the belief that it could revolutionize the PC world with Mobile Workstation Technology, its design and advanced engineering techniques typically unseen in the computer industry. Eurocom offers fully configurable Mobile Workstations and Mobile Servers; from VGA to storage, from RAM to Processor, everything can be configured to the needs of the individual user. With this new GPU Eurocom adds another option to its extended GPU line of products.

About AMD Radeon Mobility HD6xxxM Series
The AMD Radeon HD 6xxxM Series is following up the HD 5xxxM series. After having launched the HD 6xxx desktop GPU series in October 2010, AMD is showing its commitment to the mobile market by launching the mobile version of this series for ultimate graphical performance on the go. In conjunction with its philosophy of offering the best technology available Eurocom chose to offer only the highest performing AMD HD 6000 series card, the HD6970M. Eurocom offers overclocking support for the HD 6970M to allow for even more extreme performance.

I was going to say this is a 6950 but rop count is wrong, it's half a 6970 but with all the rops, interesting.

I wanna see benches :D

As two in crossfire is a 6970, in a laptop D:

I mean rops as in the way we always talk about rops in ATI cards, not the ones listed as rops in the press statement.

The cards are 2 6850 desktop equivalents.

Yup, it's a 6850, but in Crossfire they'll kickass.
For laptops, it's the best graphics out there when you think about consumption, heat, noise, etc ;)

No dual socket 1366 with 4 way crossfire? I'm very dissapointed, Eurocom.

If what you guys are saying is true, I'm amazed, real 6850's in a laptop, I mean 5870m's are just 5770's, thats a huge leap. Question is then, can they be unlocked?

That is a huge amount of performance crammed into a laptop. Golf clap, Eurocom.

What kind of question is that? Only the 6950s can be unlocked to 6970s, the 6850s can't be unlock to 6870s, but with the clocks @940/1100 or a little higher, you already have a 6870's performance.

It is not ( to everyone else as well) read the rop count, my 6870 only has 32 rops, this has 48.

It's a full blown mobile version of 6970, it just has half the shader count ( probably a few other things reduced as well)

You misread panther, 48 is the TMU count. 32 is the ROPs. It's a 6850 with lesser clocks.

Half of the shader count? The 6970 has 1536 shaders, not 1920 ._.'
