Club3D announced its Radeon HD 6950 1 GB graphics card (model no.: CGAX-69524F). Making use of a completely in-house design by Club3D, the card uses a red PCB that is 10.5 inches long, and a custom-design cooling assembly that uses a large aluminum fin heatsink to cool the GPU, ventilated by two 80 mm spinners. The card uses 1 GB of memory over a 256-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface. It uses AMD-reference clock speeds of 800 MHz core and 1250 MHz (5.00 GHz effective) memory. Like every other HD 6950, it features 1408 stream processors. Display outputs are standard, two each of DVI and mini-DisplayPort 1.2, one HDMI 1.4a. Club3D did not give out pricing information.

If priced right, say PowerColor level, it could be a good choice. Other than that, regular card. Might bring surprises in OC, but I doubt it.

Ugly, to many ugly amd cards this season, coolers look horrible these days, the better coolers are used on 20 different models, red pcb is old, where's originality??
My gainward hd4850 gs looks better...

all high end cards looks the same to me, which is another reason why i only use mid range, because they look different than high end.

If you want tho, you can try the Diamond 6850
DIAMOND 6850PE51G Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5...

Although I agree that it is not the peak of aesthetics, but I still don't see the relevance of it. Even the one from Diamond isn't something I would call "pretty".

BTW, no heatpipes?

EDIT: Oh, now I've seen them. (upper side on that pic)

I don't care how a card looks like. Can look like a mixture of Lady Gaga and Amy Winehouse, if it does the job right, then is perfect. And besides if is in an inside close case, who cares?

i guess what makes it ugly is the scheme, black fan, black cover, if they add red on cover it would much better
but i like the dual fans
this is a nice card but i dunno from they way they package it, it makes the card look less solid
