I read somewhere that it'll be shipping in spring, and the price is around $700. Don't quote me on the pricing, but the release date I'm pretty sure since multiple tech sites report the same.

Hopefully will be cheaper than $700, because E-350 APU based laptops should cost arround $350-450. I'll be waiting for more informations.

Not really a stretch considering the single core E-240 will be in Lenovo's X120E and that STARTS at $399 So there E-350 variant will probably be over $500 after all is said and done.

ThinkPad X120E with AMD Fusion E-350, 4GB DDR3 RAM, 320GB HDD have a $399 starting price. With coupon you can take it even for cheaper.
So I would not pay more than $500 for this MSI.

No, Engadget had a review of the X120E. After all the upgrades to bring it to similar/identical specs as the HP dm1z, it was around $550, same as the Sony Vaio YB [insert long model # here]. I got my dm1z for $389.99 + tax. Expect the MSI to be priced at a premium given the addition of USB 3.0 and it's targeted at people like us who know what we want.

For $399 you're likely getting the E-240 single core, 1-2gb of memory and a smaller hard drive.

How'd you get the DM1z below $400? Also, why does your sig say you refuse to purchase HP products?
