OCZ Unveils IBIS XL 4 TB HSDL Solid State Drive

If you bought one you would own half of OCZ

I need the space. < Most serious comment in this thread ;)

If I moved over everything on my box now to the 2.56TB model, only have around 80GB of free space. That's not counting drives I have in other machines where I move overflow to.

LOL that's crazy. Who needs more that much highspeed SSD based storage? Unless you're running a pr0n server from your home ... I'm on to you!http://tpucdn.com/forums/images/smilies/roll.gif

A 8.0L W16 only making 1200HP, and weighing 1200+ lb, you can get better numbers out of a v8

For sake of hijacking...

150hp/L is pretty good. That's a 400hp 2.0L 4-banger. A Bugatti is not an "import tuner" out racing Subarus. :slap: Nor is it an alcohol burning v8 big-block that get's rebuilt every half dozen runs.

So how long before flash replaces ram? I could see that happening in the near future, profits permitting.

Check my previews post. The current RAM have a peak transfer rate of almost 15GB/s

You tell me how long it will take, hahaha!

Well sure it'll take awhile to reach 15GB/s. I was actually thinking more along the lines of laptops, netbooks, and phones. Things like that.

The crappiest RAM for phones are like 200Mhz only. That's like almost 3.2GB/s speed, hehe
