ASUS M5A99X EVO Motherboard Pictured

I WOULD love to have something like that for my AMD build :)
Wonder how much the price will be? like 300 something?

nice board, i like the heatsink looks like but it looks better if it coupled with heat pipes

cooler has two meanings, first for temps and second for visual attraction. asus and gigabyte both tends to look a like, expect for the premium set like rampage on rog..

geez i want to upgrade my rig so badly :banghead:

i never pickup motherboard because it looks, even you know, majority of them have the same features..

Don't know if it is 100% relative, but - a) this mobo is from ASUS too so partially it fits in this thread & b) whaddayaknow - GeForce.com has posted this : http://www.geforce.com/#/News/articles/sli-for-amd.

Atleast now i know what to buy for my future AM3+/AMD FX-8130P PC. Great info is coming prior to 'Dozer's/AMD 990FX launch. Bet by the time June 11 comes PC store around the globe will be bombarded by customers to buy this stuff fresh off shelves or something like that. :)

Weeks ? I have learnt too much of [X]HTML/CSS then. lol Bout Crosshair V Formula ? I'm gonna wait til June 11 & if i'll have enough ca$h - once it comes out along with FX-8130, i'll buy both. Yet again : weeks ? Bet if i'll Google for it they either give Crosshair IV Formula instead & claim it's Crosshair V Formula, or will give it for real. Gonna check it out. :)
 
I'm getting a 990 Crosshair V Formula the day it hits the market.
 
Same here, unless i won't have enough cash (unlikely). Only now i want to see it's (C5F) layout : me want to see if it's even awesomer then C4F. I am starving for pics !!!!!!!!! :laugh:
 
Meh. Manufacturers need to stop sacrificing expansion slots. There are 7 available in ATX, use them dammit.

I meant more generally. Not about that 1 board. I meant about the inclusion of SLI in the 900 series chipset.

Yes, that one is old. But not weeks, maybe week-and-a-half, maybe 2. I knew about it & after seeing this, i know which board to buy. Great news. :toast:

*UPDATE*

Just Googled bout Crosshair V Formula & found this list that also includes M5A9xx series mobos : http://i1-news.softpedia-static.com...AM3-Bulldozer-Motherboard-Gets-Detailed-3.jpg. This stuff is F***in'ACE, but the Crosshair V Formula is the ultimate mofo of them all. Not that the others are bad - opposite.

Why not just go with x16 x16 and get rid of the third PCIe x16 slot that would be better for the likes of me who want to upgrade to AM3+ not sideways with a down grade on xfire

or will they make an cheaper 990FX based mobe like the M3A32MVP-Deluxe where you get
x16-x16-na-na, x16-x16-x8-na, x8-x8-x8-x8

in this day and age there really isn't an excuse for not doin atleast x16-x16 xfire/sli on above basic mobo's with 2x PCIe x16 slots

Actually if they (Asus) could just take the M3A32MVP-Deluxe mobo and put 990FX/900 chipset on it I'd probably buy it again mines been a damn good mobo and the Crosshair versions are just well over priced here so I doubt I'll ever be getting one of those but a nice M5A32MVP-Deluxe would be good

M5A32xxx ? Crosshair IV Formula costs right now in Israel 1000 sheckels or ~295USD. (in one relatively cheap prices-wise PC store near me) Crosshair V Formula might cost 1500 sheckels; 1USD equals ~3.45 sheckels. Divide & you'll get the result : top-dog of mobo will cost quite dearly, but will not rob the wallet if one (such as me soon) earns 6500-7000 sheckels a month. By end of August the prices might drop, that's when you & me should strike. :)

Maybe you should buy in Israel. lol jk How high/bad the prices & taxes in NZ ?
 
the Crosshair IV extreme is $571 NZ dollars and the formula is $400 the includes 15% Tax NZ to USD $0.80 still over priced from my point of view I don't know what they go for in the US

to be honest I never like blue its look like a gay color for me, I like red and black instead.

Btw what happen to our capital? I have friend from england that come to jakarta and he never complain(except its soaring hot in here) but he quite enjoy it especially the night life.

Shame tough asus distributor is suck in here, its so hard to rma, that why I will never sell asus again in my store, its ecs, msi, gigabyte or biostar right now.
