PowerColor Releases Radeon HD 6870 X2 2 GB Graphics Card

I'm surprised that there are so many people willing to invest so much money into a PowerColor product.

Has nobody else here had reliability nightmares?

I have read others on here saying they did, but I have not either. I would imagine a higher end card like this would be less likely to have a quality issue.

The thing is, a dual-chip card is always more expensive than it's standard CrossFireX setup counterpart.
For example, here the cheapest single HD 6870 is 150€. Crossfire would cost 300€. The cheapest GTX 580 is 420€. Due to the complexity of the board that allows the HD 6870x2 to exist (engineering and components), I'm thinking the card will cost 400~450€.

Can't compare 2 6870's to 1 580...
