There are a lot of different HTPC cases out there, but this one takes the top spot. The Origen AE may be larger than the usual HTPC case, but it has space for 10 hard drives, is made out of aluminum and has a 12.1 inch screen with a resolution of 1920x1200. Yes 1080p on a 12.1 inch screen. It comes with a removable mainboard tray and 3 fans.

think its pointless imo, why run games at 1900x1200 when you wont be able to see whats happening in them cause of a tiny 12" screen  , just for bragging rights, the screen probably makes up 80% of the cost of that thing and you wouldnt use it 24/7 unless you like teeny weeny screenies lol :p

nice specs on it, but like i said its just for people with too much money who like to show off, tbh i wouldnt buy one if i could afford one.

ooh its a touchscreen too, that would make one badass piece of hifi kit with silent equipment in it (i.e. core duo/solo/whatever they call the pentium m now) however xmans right, that resolution is pure overkill though (unless moneys no object) i want one, but yeah if i had the money i wouldnt buy it

its not for games. its a case for an htpc. you have the monitor for all the settings and what not and channel choices and movie/music archive arrangements.

how much would dat cost

it suppors ATX and fullsize ATX PSU too

Honestly the screen is useless because most people hook up their htpcs to much larger High Def TV's or Projectors. Having a touchscreen LCD located next to the TV is like going up to the tv to flip channels no one wants to bother with it when they have remotes. What they need are 12" touchscreen tablets hooked up to the HTPC. Its slowly moving that way, just not their yet.

good luck trying to read a music/movie library at 1900x1200

now if that screen were detatchable,wi-fi, low res, and recharged when plugged back in.....
damn why cant I design these things for a living

i thinked of this before for a project, if the lcd was bigger, it would be a perfect lan party case

Looks like they are just bringing out anything in the PC market.
