Also needs MOAR sata ports

It has 6 SATA ports + 2 SFF-8087 (2x4 SATA multilane) connectors (low right corner). That equals to 14 SATA ports. It is enough even for a server board. If someone can blow $$$$$ on that kind of setup he can certainly spend few $$$ more on proper RAID controller if additional ports are required.

So what do you need 24+ cores for anyway ?

Or any kind of computation network - BOINC, World Community Grid and so on.

3D Rendering, especially for 3Dstudio projects. Many renderers support up to 64 Cores/Threads, so the more the better

Still trying to find out how the new NEX PSU is going to support 2 eight pin and 3 six pin connectors. I would also like a comparison with the ASUS Z9PE-D8 WS.

im hapy with my current dual socket evga board but that one wil be my next one onse this one becomes deffective

It isn't setup for tri-channel, hence the lack of balance.
