Agreed. Built my original rig (AMD Duron 1ghz with geforce mx4200 & 1gb ram :cry:

) to play doom 3 and call of duty 2. They worked but not very well. A few months later I upgraded to a skt 754 2.0ghz sempron and an ati 9600xt and that was a nice little rig for a while.

Doom 1 and 2 are among my favorite games of all time and they could just copy paste those with updated graphics and I'd buy em.

Yay doom 4.

Will this be another crappy console port?
Rage was very similar to borderlands. And fall out 3... Not much fun at all...
IMO it should be $19.95 then it would get 10 out of 10.

Rage was an epic disappointment IMO.
It looks okay but nothing ground breaking.
I was more pissed off there is no developer tools or SKD.

ID software are shadows of their former selves.
They need more multilayer and fun games.
Everything after quake 3 has been a bit of a let down.
Doom 3 was okay for single player but multilayer was really crap.

I don't except doom 4 to be very good.

Well the pictures from OP and the others I linked earlier are probably from the canceled project, because (according to id) they have nothing to do with Doom4:
"Those images have nothing to do with what you're gonna see in Doom4. When we officially show things you'll see awesome"
