Showcased last week at CeBIT 2012, Deepcool's GAMMAXX 400 CPU cooler has now been officially launched and is making its way to stores worldwide. This new cooler measures 135 x 76 x 159 mm, it weights 638 grams, and features four direct touch copper heatpipes, 50 aluminum fins, and a 120 mm Hydro Bearing fan operating at 900 to 1500 RPM (21.4 ~ 32.1 dBA sound output).

The GAMMAXX 400 supports Intel LGA1366/LGA1155/LGA1156/LGA775 and AMD Socket FM1/AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2/940/939/754 processors, while an LGA2011 upgrade is set to arrive in April. The cooler's recommended price tag is 28.99 Euro.

well it aint exactly the most expensive cooler for 28Euro, but there are coolers around that same budget price range that are better

a comparison test would be nice

It's not exactly a new kind of design either, I don't expect it to perform much better than others of similar design.

Considering that fan is just a bit behind a Silverstone FN 121 in terms of cooling performance (around 15% or so behind) yet is much cheaper (by more than half actually), it's still actually a good deal.

Depends on what you consider a good deal. Something that kind of works for cheap or something that does better for a little more. I also wouldn't get a cheap cooler for LGA2011... sounds like a horrible plan. :twitch:

does it have 4-pin fan?

how is it compare to cooler master hyper 212 plus ?

The fan doesn't just "kind of works for cheap". I should paraphrase it then. It's a $5.99 fan that performs like a $9.99 fan, and is just a bit behind of a $10.99 fan. And the black frame and blades, plus the 4 LEDs are a bonus.

@zomg: Yes, the Ice Blade is a 4-pin fan, so there's PWM.

I wasn't talking about the fan. The fan can only cool as well as the HSF that moves the heat.
