Activision Blizzard Being Sued for Virtual World Infringement

Pretty sure Apple already has a patent on this.

My favorite Apple Patent;

Apple said:
Conserving Power By Reducing Voltage Supplied To An Instruction-Processing Portion Of A Processor

That's right, Apple thinks they invented Undervolting... in 2008.

NWN MMO ?. Erm pretty sure it's a RPG usingi the D&D rules.

NWN's first incarnation was as an MMO. AOL sponsored too. LOL

I remember playing it! :D (only a little though... near the end)

The 2002 version by Bioware probably does not qualify as massive. It did support 96 players at any one time, which was a lot, but not massive. Battlefield 1942, released the same year, supported 64.

Cool, never knew about it which i find very odd. Maybe i was to busy playing games like syndicate and few flight sims back then or passed it up or maybe it never made it to the UK as that's were i was living then ?.

Yeah well America Online kinda says it all maybe ?. I guess they did not advertise it well enough but then thinking more about it being online was not a priority back then.

If Activision stole their idea then they deserve to be sued. Yet another example of US technology being pirated by foreigners.
