Leading mainboard and graphics card maker MSI today announced the release of its GTX 670 Power Edition (P/N: N670GTX PE 2GD5/OC and N670GTX PE 2GD5) graphics card. The new GTX 670 Power Edition is based on the MSI Power Edition architecture which incorporates Triple Overvoltage, a strengthened PWM enabling an impressive 22.5% boost in overclocking potential compared to the reference design. The new Twin Frozr IV Thermal Design keeps the card cool and MSI's exclusive Dust Removal technology ensures that the cooling module remains free of dust for optimal cooling performance.

In addition, Propeller Blade technology offers 20% more air flow than conventional fans, effectively reducing temperatures by up to 20°C and noise levels by 11.7dB. The MSI GTX 670 Power Edition uses Military Class III components that give overclockers a level of quality and stability they can count on. The power, cooling, and other components of the MSI GTX 670 Power Edition incorporate more functions and technologies than the reference board, making it the choice of those looking for superior overclocking performance.

MSI Power Edition Architecture Boosts Overclocking Potential by 22.5%
The MSI GTX 670 Power Edition graphics card is based on the MSI Power Edition architecture: Afterburner's Triple Overvoltage allows the GPU, Memory and PLL(Aux) voltages to be adjusted. The Enhanced PWM design provides 25% more current than the reference design to ensure high stability during overclocking.

Twin Frozr IV: 20°C Cooler and 11.7dB Quieter than Reference Board
The MSI GTX 670 Power Edition is equipped with MSI's latest Twin Frozr IV Thermal Design. MSI's exclusive Dust Removal technology automatically reverses the fans at startup to prevent dust build-up dust and optimize the cooling module's ability to dissipate heat.

Patented Propeller Blade technology provides 20% more air flow over conventional fans and increases the effective cooling area. When combined with dual 8 cm temperature-controlled fans, SuperPipe technology, and a nickel-plated copper base, temperatures are effectively reduced by up to 20°C and noise by 11.7dB!

Military Class III Components Guarantees High Quality and Stability
MSI Military Class III components have been independently tested to meet many of the strict requirements specified by the MIL-STD-810G standard in order to guarantee high quality and stability. Military Class III components used on the MSI GTX 670 Power Edition include Tantalum Core Hi-c CAP, 30% more powerful SFC, and Solid CAP with up to 10 years of service life. This choice of materials reflects MSI's firm commitment to delivering trustworthy and dependable products to its customers.

Copy&Paste from the product page, just to have it here in a glance, I didn't see the clocks in their press release:
1019MHz Core (Boost Clock:1079MHz)
2048MB GDDR5 6008MHz Memory

all those fancy words and number make it sound like it will be very expensive

is this just on a 680 pcb or a new design???

is this just on a 680 pcb or a new design???

could be the same custom pcb as they made on the 680 or a new once since it's not standart short pcb.

I've already ordered normal gtx 670 of msi each 399$

Nice looking card. Seems similar looking to the ASUS Direct series.

Check your local retailers out, I think some might already have pre-orders up. (don't look at the speeds though!)

I'm fully aware of that, that's why I said check your local retailers as that info should start to trickle in now.
