If so how do they manage 192GB as the board only supports 96GB officially. Id of thought using more than the manufacturer official specs would be a bit of a poor move as surely the manufacturer would state 192GB if indeed the board supported 192GB stably?

No man, those 2 Xeons and 192 RAM is for using in some apps like CATIA, SolidWorks, Maya, etc,

Yes you can have 16/32 "cores" but no OC, the SR2 maybe "only" have 12/24 "cores" but you can OC those Xeon´s [1366] over 4.8, and that makes all the difference.

Built an $11,000 PC on their site for the hell of it. Got bored, could of mad on MUCH more expensive. They charge $4k extra for the maxed out dual 8 core. I'm sure they will find plenty of suckers.

You need to use and example better than AutoCAD 14... I was using 14 in my third year of college in 97... We were using Pentium 100 pc's then.. You are joking right? I'm not saying you need a supercomputer to run AutoCAD but you don't need it to run solidworks either..
