Acer is currently making the final arrangements for the retail release of a new S Series monitor, the 27-inch S275HLbmii. This model features a slim casing with a Zero Frame design, a glossy black bezel, an asymmetrical stand, an IPS panel with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, LED backlighting, a 6 ms response time, a dynamic contrast ratio of 100,000,000:1, and one D-Sub plus two HDMI connectors.

The S275HLbmii is backed by a three-year warranty and can be found (on pre-order) priced at £213.38 (~ $344 / €265).

most are gonna be pissed coz of the resolution... :)

Ehh seems like too much for ^ 1920 x 1080 IPS. I also don't like these monitor designs where the ports are on the stand.. Generally means no ability for a VESA mount.

obviously 27" for 1920 x 1080 is ridicolous ,is like i go to bring a ferrari with motor of a lotus elise xd 27 is to be a real 27 resolution not a zoom of a 22".

I'm more annoyed with the 6 ms response time, i mean what's up with that? I would rather have 5 ms response time.

Looks like an iPad.

It's not a bad looking monitor, but it is pricey for 1080p.
Give it a couple of months and it will probably be down around $275.

You can ignore things like response time and contrast ratio if they are product descriptions from the company.

Behold the wondrous Full sHiD resolution! Can you believe we've gotten this far in technology? I can't wait to build a time machine and go to the futuristic world of the 1990s, and be able to buy myself one of these that pulls 2048x1920 at 63 Hz! Man, when I get one of those I'm gonna blow my friggin' mind all over it!
