NVIDIA Rolls Out the GeForce 310.61 Beta Drivers

NVIDIA has today made available a new beta-tagged graphics driver, the GeForce 310.61 which is a small update from the GeForce 310.54 offering improved compatibility for PlanetSide 2 and Hitman: Absolution.

The GeForce 310.61 Beta supports GeForce 8, 9, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 and 600 Series cards and is available for Windows 7, 8 and Vista, in both 32-bit and 64-bit flavors.

I guess till most of the new game titles get released this year, is when we'll see a WHQL Driver currently doesn't make sense to release a WHQL driver with games almost coming out every month for the past few months to now so a BETA Driver serves the purpose.

On the other hand I've had the driver running on my PC for most part of the day, tested 2, 3 games with it.

Third driver in a row that makes Battlefield 3 crash every 10-30 minutes (others reporting same, so it isn't just me). Awesome job Nvidia, you made me to install another copy of Windows 7 on separate partition so i can play Battlefield 3 and CoD Black Ops 2 without re-installing damn driver every time. A PC reboot is still needed, though.

I've moved from AMD to Nvidia because of driver related issues, but in fact with AMD i never had THAT stupid situations ever.

^BETA drivers,maybe theyre called that for a reason?. try the regular drivers, ive NEVER had ANY issues.

Never had any issues with beta drivers working fine here.

Did you uninstall your previous drivers and clean them using Driver Fusion in safe mode?
