The price isn't justified, look at the U2412M

This isn't comparable to the U2412M. This is set to replace the U2410. It's a 10-bit display. It's nice to see them continuing to make professional grade 16:10 monitors but they really should start making 2560x1600 standard for 24 inch.

I'd like One, they should also consider 2560 x 1440

would look good on a 22inch/21.5

So, these are supposed to be wide-gamut RGB-LED backlit screens? Sweet. If this is really the case, then the asking price is actually fair.

I really want this monitor to replace my current dell ultrasharp 16.10 monitor. hopping that the price will be around 500eur:D

1920 x 1200? That was a bit of surprise.

I doubt it's a true 10-bit. It's probably 8-bit + FRC.

W-LED according to tftcentral:

Also I doubt that the price will be $600, since the ZR2740w is priced at ~$680.

How can you use W-LED for such expensive monitors??

How they missed a SD card reader along with the USB 3.0 Hub. This should make a perfect monitor for photo editing.

Agreed, 8-bit + AFRC, but 14-bit LUT. I doubt it's W-LED, since W-LED is not a wide-gamut backlight. As you may or may not know, the color gamut prevalently depends on the backlight type, more specifically, the wavelengths it emits. RGB-LED would also explain the high price.

I mean they forgot mention it in the article over at tftcentral, its clearly visible in picture. Also since it only has a USB 3.0 input the performance shall be decent.:rockout:

Oh, I misunderstood you then...sorry about that. Indeed it's good to finally see USB 3.0 hubs, it should of been a standard by now.

Very nice. I'll take 3, please. I'll also take the winning numbers for the lottery.

in general adoption rate of USB 3.0 has been slow. Although there are some great USB 3.0 accessories that have showed up in the market in last few months.
