IMO, C&C got lame after Red Alert1, and after playing Age of Empires I-III and Age of Mythology, I could never go to something as simple and slow as C&C. Maybe I'm just blinded by my hatred for EA

I never got a chance to play C&C. What is it like? Is it worth getting? Is it a space sim or anything like that?

It's an earth based RTS with futuristic tanks and helicopters and such. Still images taken from the game, but the game in action just looks cheezy.

c&c is a legendary series.

Ok, was.

C&C, C&C:red alert, and C&C red alert 2 are EXCELLLLLEEENNT RTS games.

Generals onward, are just dumb. EA ruined the series.

If you haven't played the old ones, you're deprived.

If you aren't still playing the old ones, you're deprived.

Just because the good ones are "old" doesn't mean they aren't worth picking up and playing anymore.

Crash bash still kicks ass. HL1 LAN'ing does too.

Some of the new stuff is just plain old crap compared to the old HL, UT, a nd C&C multiplayer fun.

WTB good games!

There is a Demo available on the internet ....... it's about 1.2 GB ...... and gives you at least 2 maps, and some tutorials to play around with .......

In my opinion the game isn't worth the $60, $40 yes.
