Cut out case backplate and stuck the whole thing in Mineral Oil

I love these when they're well done... looks like a glass case too, yes? I've actually found the smaller acrylic ones tend to crack over time. I've had mine in glass for 2 years now with no real ill effects.

Yes, mineral oil. The whole system including its PSU is submerged in it.

GREAT BUILD! if it's submerged in mineral oil, then why is it running so hot? what are the temps without the psu in the tank with it?

Because he is not cooling the oil down! Not a lot of air flow over the top of the oil where an exchange of heat needs to take place.

Pretty cool (no pun intended) I do like the idea. I've gotta ask, if you need to do any maintenance on the system where on earth do you pull it out, what do you place it on?
