The latest version of Mac OS X is now 10.4.9, meaning that this update is probably the last before Leopard is released. Apple improves "graphics drivers, Bluetooth, networking, image handling, font management, sync services, Dashboard widgets and Rosetta, Intel-based Macs' PowerPC compatibility mechanism" in this version of Mac OS X. Applications also load faster in this version of Mac OS X. All of the various updates available for Mac OS X can be grabbed here.

Anyone here using OS X and their varients? Whats it like?

im hoping leopard makes OS X86 easier with the new gfx drivers and Rosetta fixes currently i can run osx 10.4 on my pc its got moded kernels and stuff to make it work an it runs nice but im stuck at 1024x786 which is not nice on a 22inch ws with a native of 1680x1050 even unstretched it sucks

I'm ruuning OS X.4 Tiger on all 3 of my Macs. I've previously run 10.2 and 10.3 on my ppc macs. OS X runs great. It's not the resource hog that some Windows variants can be. It runs perfectly fine on my 1GHz G4 w/ 1GB of ram. You can't expect miracles, but it's a great office, surfing, movie watching machine. OS X.4 also seems quicker than XP on my Core2 iMac.
