EVGA's GeForce GTX 760 graphics card lineup will have no less than six models, based on three of its own cooler designs. The company even plans to take advantage of the leeway NVIDIA appears to have given its partners, to come up with custom-design GTX 760 graphics cards, in a bid to close the performance gap between the $249-$299 GTX 760, and the $399 GTX 770. EVGA's GTX 760 lineup starts off with a base-model, which uses its new ACX cooling solution that made its debut with this generation. This card will stick to NVIDIA reference clock speeds of 980 MHz core, 1033 MHz GPU Boost, and 6.00 GHz memory, and feature 2 GB of memory. EVGA is working on a 4 GB GTX 760, which sticks to reference clock speeds, but features the company's blower-type Signature cooler from previous generation.

Moving on, EVGA will deploy its latest ACX cooling solution on the GTX 760 SuperClocked. Armed with 2 GB of memory, this card gives you factory-overclocked speeds of 1072 MHz core, 1137 MHz GPU Boost, and an untouched 6.00 GHz memory. A few steps up the ladder, you'll find the GTX 760 FTW 2 GB, which uses the same blower-type previous-generation Signature cooler as the GTX 760 4 GB, but with 1085 MHz core, 1150 MHz GPU Boost, and 6.00 GHz memory. Another card with the same clock speeds is the GTX 760 FTW SuperClocked. This strangelet uses a different high-performance blower-type cooler, which made its debut with EVGA's custom-design GTX 780 graphics cards. At the top of the pile is the GTX 760 4 GB FTW, armed with double the memory amount, ACX cooling, and the same clock speeds as the other FTW cards. Given the $249-$299 positioning of the GTX 760, we're skeptical about EVGA launching water-cooling ready HydroCopper cards based on the chip. The cards are pictured below in the order of their mention, in the article.

Starting at $249 isn't bad,......

I probably wont upgrade from my current GTX 670 though,......

Depends on the performance. Let's wait for the reviews.
Perf/$ would be good if it really lies between GTX660Ti and GTX670 with $249 release.

No reason to. The 670 performs about 10% better than the 760 with the same power consumption. The only good things are the stuff that come with the 700 series and its cheaper. Abit disappointed its not as efficiant as the 600 series.

Your numbers are backwards. The 760 performs around 10% faster than the 670.

let's not forget about GPU Boost 2.0 that make 770 faster, more silent and more efficient than GTX 680

probabily because they have reference, SC and FTW, each of them come with both 2gb and 4gb version

I do believe 760 will not perform better than 670. I think the performance will be about the same as 660 ti or maybe slightly better.

The 770 is only 10% faster than the 670, how do you figure the 760 will be 10% better too...:wtf:

And the 770 has more shaders and a much higher clock than the 670 and the 760 has less shaders and only a marginally higher clock. I'd believe close to even, but not 10% faster.

Two words: market saturation. The more of a product you have in the retail space the more likely that someone will end up choosing one of your products.

EVGA is holding to NVidia’s new marketing premise "confuse hell out them"... ;)

Incremental performance, spec's, and pricing… spin the wheel round and round… what perchance will yours really get? Now I’m feeling dizzy!

No chance that 760 will be faster than 670. Maybe some really fast OC models clocked close to the max. 670 is only 915mhz GPU and it will always be faster than 760 bcs. extra CUDA cores and more OC headroom. You dont have to be very smart to figure it out.
Nvidia left some space for 760ti and bought some more time for 670. It would be nice to cut some price of it.

Compare this to the GTX 660Ti guys the 670 may be faster but it's also $100 more. $249 for GK104 is pretty nice, the GTX 660Ti is still $30 more. 1080p with full details should be a piece of cake for hardware like this, which is the dominating resolution right now as I understand.

We aren't saying this isn't a good card, it just isn't as fast as a 670. It is still going to be an awesome card for the money.

Really? Looks pretty straightforward to me- straight choice between blower/fan exhausting all hot air at the expense of fan profile/noise/heat, or the ACX (basically taking the place of the SIG2 range)...better cooling/lower noise at the expense of some of the exhaust staying within the chassis. After that, its just factory clock speed differences.
Having a large number of models probably reflects the fact that EVGA relies upon a single IHV's products...I take it you're acquainted with Sapphire's extensive range of HD 7950/7970 products...another vendor tied to a sole IHV (at least in graphics cards).
Now I’m feeling dizzy!
Surely you mean dizzier ? Some of us do recall your earlier posts

I don't understand how do you go from ~316 EUR from some random site to 250-300 USD.

At the moment 660 Ti is ~260 EUR and ~300 USD. So in reality the GTX 760 will be ~360 USD.

No it doesn't. It's 10% better than the 660Ti with the power consumption of a 670 but doesn't cost the price of neither card. Its on same price range as normal 660. The only good thing is the price but the 600 series cards are more power efficiant.

You don't know that. Plus the 316 EUR rumor puts in between 660 ti and 670 as far as price goes.

I can guarantee that it will be at the very least 320 USD. GPU prices are always higher in USD than in EUR (only when you convert EUR to USD, prices in Europe become ~15-20% higher), i.e.:

Gigabyte WF3 GTX 780
~645 EUR vs. ~680 USD

ASUS DC2O GTX 770
~390 EUR vs. ~410 USD

ASUS DC2O GTX 660 Ti
~260 EUR vs. ~280 USD

Gigabyte WF3 HD 7970
~350 EUR vs. ~400 USD

Gigabyte WF3 HD 7870
~210 EUR vs. ~235 USD

Get the idea? There is no way that 760 could be priced lower in USD than it is in EUR.

Min. 320 USD.

Not so much talking just EVGA, they’re expected as being unquestionably the "lone prominent" Nvidia exclusive. More when you lump all the other AIB's and their variants, then add in all the all the other 6XX cards still filling-out the menagerie of the $200-300 bracket. But choice is good... so they say!
