Cooler Master, a leading creator, innovator and manufacturer of desktop components and more, today released the highly efficient and powerful VS Series Power Supplies (PSU).

High Efficiency Design
Developed to improve efficiency and increase heat dissipation, VS Series PSUs are manufactured with a unique 3D circuit design. This special design minimizes unnecessary cabling which results in lower crosstalk and signal noise. Less cables means more open space to provide improved airflow to core components.

A single, powerful rail platform channels the power of VS Series PSUs for superior load balancing and better compatibility with graphics cards. High-grade Japanese capacitors help mitigate the affect of power fluctuations while extending overall PSU system life and creating excellent holdup times. A custom DC-DC module further increases operational efficiency and voltage stability. A firm 80 PLUS Gold certification is the net result of these many improvements.

For added ease of use and ability to manage cables, VS PSUs include a semi modular flat ribbon cable system. Only the most basic system cables are directly attached, leaving it up to the user to decide what will be necessary for their build. Those that enjoy easy cable management will appreciate the included flat ribbon cables that give users the ability to compress and arrange their cables in clean and compact ways not possible with traditional and individually sleeved cabling - saving time and enabling builds with the best possible airflow.

The VS Series will be available in 550W, 650W, and 750W models. Price and availability may vary based on region.

I like how they are including a picture of innards for press release, any glaring flaws will be pointed and jumped on

..."unique 3D design". What B.S. marketing hype.

IMO people should not buy any PSU that isn't tested by JonnyGuru and/or Hardware Secrets and scores at the very top of the heap. Then buy based on price, customer service and warranty. That way you'll skip the brand and marketing hype and get a reliable, top performing PSU at the best price. Chances are that PSU will be made by Seasonic. It may be a rebadged Seasonic, but as long as it tests out good, you'll get a great PSU at a good price.

Disclaimer: I have no association with any of the PSU makers or sellers. If however you check reputable, objective, scientific PSU reviews from Jonnygura and Hardware Secrets, then you'll see for yourself that Seasonic provides the majority of top PSU models and typically the lowest costs of the best PSUs.

As always people should buy what makes them happy but an educated consumer usually ends up the happiest consumer. ;)

TPU does excellent PSU reviews too, very much on par with Jonnyguru.

Also, Jorge has shit on his hands, I can tell by his words.

I didn't see any japanese capacitors on vs550s.

They use Teapo ones iirc, Taiwanese but pretty decent for consumer PSUs.

The VS and V are made by 2 different oem...VS=Enhance...V=Seasonic. That there=big difference in quality. I don't know why Cooler Master would taint the name of the V series.
