Corsair, a worldwide designer and supplier of high-performance components to the PC hardware market, today announced the immediate availability of the Air SeriesTM AF120 LED Quiet Edition and Air Series AF140 LED Quiet Edition high airflow PC case fans. The new fans are the only LED fans to use Corsair's award-winning AF series impeller designs to produce higher airflow at lower noise levels. The Air Series LED fans are available in 120mm and 140mm sizes with red, white, blue, or purple LED lighting.

The Air Series LED Quiet Edition high airflow PC case fans are designed with custom-molded, ultra-thin, clear frosted blades with a sleeved bearing system and four vivid LEDs. The result is a visually striking fan which helps users build great looking PCs while delivering outstanding cooling with exceptionally low vibration, noise and turbulence. The fans are ideal for mounting at the rear or top of PC cases to exhaust heat from a PC's CPU, graphics accelerators, and other heat generating components. The Air Series LED fans work equally well as unrestricted intake fans for areas like side panels or bottom intakes.

"Users often feel they are sacrificing quality when using LED fans," said Xavier Lauwaert, Director of Product Marketing at Corsair. "Our new Air Series LED fans combine the proven low-noise, high-performance design of our standard Air Series fans with just the right amount of LED visual flair. Now users can enhance and customize the look of their PCs with LED fans without compromising performance."

That looks cool....

No that is not what I asked for Corsair. I want SP140s!

Is it wrong that I want LEDs but I still want the colored rings too?

Yes, you are asking for far too much. :p

I'm actually excited about these; they look nice. I'd love some led SP120q fans, quiet style. I don't know if I could actually go back to leds in my case after not having them for so long.

Sleeve bearings? D'oh.

Purple LEDs, nice. Now all I need is a purple and black motherboard and a new build could be in the works :D

Is it wrong that I'm not excited about cool LED fans anymore? I think I'm getting old, but I'd prefer them to release their SP120L fans to the public instead.

I just kind of like the rings more, but if I had both I would use ones with LEDs just for shits and giggles. I still have a set of 12" CCFLs in my TJ-11, so these wont matter much.

omg I just replaced my 3 LED fans yesterday......and theres not much choice for quality LED fans. Oh well lucky they were cheap, I might try some of these anyway.

I wonder if they are as good as Xigmatek CLF fans which I am pretty happy with those at the moment

Personally, Corsair fans 'click' too much for my liking when undervolted. how loud it clicks can vary

I like purple lights only under my car. :D

It's sort of amusing how techpowerup uses those advertisers blurbs, the silly language in them is so only seen in such press releases.

I think you may have your wish, the first picture shows the tiny tabs to mount the rings.

Im in also.... cant wait to have a red glow at the front and rear of my case :rockout:

I think you might have bum fans, I have mine as low as the mobo bios fan controller will alow and it's whisper quiet.. mabey it's something with your 240v 50Hz power over there?
